UFC 252: Daniel Cormier (2011)

This coming Saturday at UFC 252, Daniel Cormier is set to compete for the last time as he challenges Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight championship of the world. 

Before Cormier became "DC" and one of the biggest stars and best fighters in MMA, he fought in Strikeforce. 

On his journey to the mountain top, Steve talked to him before his first co-main event for the company in January 2011 against Devin Cole. 

Cormier candidly discussed why he got into amateur wrestling, thinking amateur wrestling was his way of getting to WWE, possibly joining WWE in 2004 and what Kurt Angle said to him to deter him from that, being thrown into the wolves in Strikeforce, fighting at light heavyweight and much more.
